Russell Westbrook and James Harden are getting all the headlines this season for logging triple-doubles on a nightly basis, but if you ask me, they are not the most must-see players in the NBA. I’m giving out that honor to an unlikely candidate in the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic.
Never in my life have I advised people to watch mid-season Nuggets basketball, but here we are — Jokic is just that damn good. Simply put, the guy is playing the game at a different speed than everyone else on the court, throwing in awkward-looking push shots and dropping insane dimes you’ve never seen from a big man.
