Patriots Fire Alarm Suspect Rewarded With Free Meal From Hooters

Patriots fan Dennis Harrison nearly set off another major controversy for his team this past weekend by pulling the fire alarm at the Steelers’ team hotel. Harrison, who referred to himself as “drunk” and “stupid,” was hit with a trifecta of charges (disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, setting off a fire alarm) for his bold act of fandom, but there was one establishment out there who was A-OK with his actions… Hooters!

That’s right. A Hooters in Saugus appreciated Harrison ruining the slumber of the Steelers so much that they offered up a free meal to their “Folk Hero.” Hell, they even shouted him out:

The best part? Dennis actually took them up on their offer!
Details from The Boston Globe:

David Rodriguez, a Hooters training manager who answered the phone at the Saugus location Wednesday, claimed Harrison actually took them up on the offer, and enjoyed a meal on Monday.
“Obviously if someone had the same name we would have honored it, but specifically we were looking for the one and only,” said Rodriguez.
The sign, he said, came down the following day.

I’m guessing this promotion will only encourage more NFL crazies to attempt these stunts.
