The Minnesota Vikings’ 2016 season started pretty hot with a nice 5-0 run and then, you know, they proceeded to lose eight of their final 11 games to miss out on a playoff spot. A pretty sour way to cap a season that was already torpedoed by Teddy Bridgewater’s major preseason knee injury.
But hey, if Vikings fans are looking for a silver lining, it sure looked like the tailgating scene was pretty lit. It’s not everyday you see a guy hyping people up by biting off fish heads:
If you’re looking to get into that tailgate action for next season, look no further than the Vikings-themed 1978 Volkswagen bus above. It has a sweet vintage Vikings paint job and even better moniker — “The VikesWagon.”

1978 volkswagen bus for sale. Previous owner had it painted in vikings colors and used it to tailgate at games. I bought it with a rusted out front axle beam. I replaced it with a solid donor beam. The bus does run and drive but will need some attention before really being road worthy. Things I’ve noticed it needs are front shocks, steering dampner, ball joints and new rubber brake hoses. It also needs the rear engine tin and seal that go around the engine and the muffler is rusted out. Tires are almost new. Interior is pretty decent and the original middle seat is there and in good shape. Overall this bus would make a nice driver if you stuck another $500 into it.
