Johnny Football Says a Selfie With Him Won’t Cost $50

Last week, we told you guys about Johnny Manziel being scheduled for an autograph signing in Houston during Super Bowl week. It was reported there would be a $99 fee to get Football’s Heisman signature, while a selfie would set you back $50. The Internet expectedly went nuts at that selfie price, but Football, who apparently just found out about this after a week of San Diego fun, took to Twitter today to let everyone know he’s “not charging a penny.”

Just had this brought to to my attention. I'm not charging a penny for a damn "selfie" at the super bowl. Dumbest thing I've ever heard

(Johnny might want to get his people to tell CraveTheAuto to change their event details.)

He went on to say he’s doing this for the Texans who have stuck by his side during this interesting period of his life:

I'm doing this signing for the people (especially Texans) who have stuck with me through all the mistakes I've made these past years #tru

And added some good news — he’s happy! Must be the new girlfriend.

Haven't been this happy in a long time man. I appreciate all the people in my life who reached out during the truly rough patches in '16

Johnny’s focus in 2017? Be a good person:

No lie.. I was a douche in 2016 I'm just trying to be a good PERSON again#LostInTheSauce

TMZ reported on Wednesday that Football has been training five-six days a week in an effort to get himself back into the NFL. Of course, this isn’t the first time he’s talked about a comeback so we’ll have to see how this plays out.
