I missed this late last week when P.J. Fleck made his grand entrance at Minnesota to become the new head coach. I missed the interview KTSP did with P.J.’s wife Heather, who told the TV station that she’s at every practice and every event.

Why do I get the feeling I’m watching a P90X infomercial when these two are on my screen? It’s not a bad thing that the Flecks are high energy. I appreciate it because it makes these two interesting and that turns into content, which turns into pageviews. It just feels like this is the beginning of a new era in coaching where the wife could kick some ass and is just as competitive as the husband. It helps that these two aren’t camera shy.
Heather also said some people think these two have natural Red Bull running through their veins. I have to agree. You’ll never hear BC say anything bad about Heather Fleck. Damn right she could kick my blogger ass. I sit in a chair for like 13-15 hours a day. She’s chase me down like a lion jumping on a dinner. No way my out of shape ass is getting far from Heather.
Buckle up Minnesota. High energy is in town for awhile. P.J. got a five-year, $18.5 million contract.
