You’ve probably noticed basketball players trending back to the good ol’ days of fitted short shorts, but there’s no one out there pushing the 1980s look quite like St. John’s shot-blocking maven Tariq Owens.
Seriously. There are guys who wear shorts that cut off above the knee, and then there’s Tariq, who’s gives you a heavy dose of thigh. Apparently he tucks them into his compression shorts for a little something extra:

Outside of the odd compression short tuck in, I’m all about it — and the headband really does complete the throwback look.
