You never know how real these reaction videos are when a team suffers a crushing loss. Over the years, after people have gone viral, I feel like the majority of these things are staged or way over exaggerated just get some Youtube views.
I’m not sure about this one, though. It’s short and to the point, only 10 seconds long. It’s not drawn out at all and just seems like an instant reaction to that USC kicker crushing a 46 yard field goal right in Penn State’s face to win the Rose Bowl. The kick goes through the uprights and this dude immediately jumps out of his chair to form tackle his Christmas tree. He breaks a bunch of ornaments, pouts for a second, and end scene.
After that kind of game, with all of those ups and downs, I think this is a reasonable reaction from a Penn State fan. I say it’s real.
