Earlier this week I broke the news that Boise and Baylor didn’t stay at a Motel 6 for the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl. Now comes word that the Music City Bowl treated Nebraska and Tennessee players to some ballroom wrestling before their Friday showdown in Nashville.
And they let the Huskers help out by holding back one of the wrestlers, presumably so he could get Wahoo McDaniel’d across the chest.
I’m not sure why, but not a peep out of the @HuskerFBNation last night about the players going to a wrestling show. So weird. You’d think the football account would’ve hyped it up.
