Set to play Louisville in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, LSU opted to stay brand loyal and feasted at a BWW upon arriving in Orlando Tuesday night.

Staying light and healthy in preparation for Lamar Jackson apparently wasn’t on the to-do list, because Ross Dellenger of The Advocate says LSU did major damage to the tune of over 4,000 (!) chicken wings:

#LSU football players consumed 4,000 wings tonight, a Buffalo Wild Wings manager says.

4K is obviously an astounding number in its own right, but it’s even more impressive after learning Missouri and Minnesota had to combine their totals to cross that threshold last year:

This week @BWWings treated both teams to lunch. They ate 4,830 wings combined. #Mizzou had 2,070, #Gophers had 2,760. pic.twitter.com/1T4Rb639zl

The ball is now in your court, Louisville. Devour 5,000 wings or don’t even bother stepping foot inside BWW.

Employees probably had no idea what was coming:
