I was going to post this last night, and would’ve beaten TMZ to the punch, but I got sidetracked by the guy who murdered his stepmom after she started bragging about the Cowboys beating the Buccaneers. One thing led to another and it was like midnight and I was spent. BC only has so many workers. I can only get to so much before my body crumbles on the couch while I’m still wearing jeans.
Anyway, Manny might be ready for a comeback, according to his wife, Juliana.
She wrote on IG:
The importance of hard work, persistence, and overall dedication. #mannyramirez He flew to North Carolina to work on his mechanics. He is always learning, studying and training incredibly hard #iadmireyoubabe #soinspiring #loveforthegame
Then TMZ got in touch with the Ramirez house and she added:
But we spoke with Manny’s wife, Juliana, who tells us the 12 time MLB All-Star and World Series MVP has been training like crazy … and has been in talks with a pro team outside the United States.
“He is training extremely hard,” Juliana says … “Batting, CrossFit, Orange Theory. He never stops.”
Manny turns 45 in May. He made $206,827,769 during his career, but hasn’t cashed a game check since 2011. I’ll guess Manny’s thinking of making a run at playing in the Dominican playoffs. Celebrate Christmas this weekend with the kids and then ship off to the DR for a hired gun job.
Would he possibly go to Japan or Korea? That would be incredible theater & I’d be glued to YouTube waiting for bat flip videos.
