You know who isn’t dead? Tony Romo. But you wouldn’t know it after reading all the sympathy coverage poor No. 9 has received this week after admitting Dak Prescott’s the guy in a prepared statement.
“Oh, he’s so classy.”
“What a pro.”
“Showing Drew Bledsoe and Brett Favre how it’s done.”
Yeah, all that shit makes me want to vomit. Tony has a sweet deal making his money standing on the sideline and not breaking his collarbone/back/clavicle. It’s pretty much a given that some part of his body will fracture every time a huge lineman slams him to the ground.
But here’s a reminder for everyone: Tony isn’t done yet. It’s entirely possible Dak gets hurt himself at some point this season, and you know who will be behind center in a flash. So yeah, Tony will watch Dak and Zeke do their thing and continue to be a good role model:
