Cliff Harris, who was an All-American kick returner at Oregon back in 2011, was arrested again this weekend and turned in one of the wildest mugshots of 2016 whether we’re talking athletes or Florida or Ohio or any other place in the U.S. Cliff was arrested early Sunday on theft and drug charges.
His arrest late Saturday included a felony charge of violation of that probation, however, along with misdemeanor charges of theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was booked into Fresno County jail after 1 a.m. Sunday.
Cliff was released from jail in December 2015 after having issues with drugs, wild behavior and starting a fire in a Fresno median. Something is clearly off with Cliff Harris. I mean, if the arrest record since leaving school isn’t a clue, how about the mugshot. Cliff’s off the rails.
It’s not like this is something new for Cliff. You might remember this Cliff story from back in the day.
He was suspended for the start of the 2011 season for a violation of team rules, months after his car was stopped for traveling 118 mph with a suspended license. When the officer who pulled Harris over told him he smelled marijuana, Harris responded, “We smoked it all.” He was dismissed from the program in December 2011.
