USC-Washington as your GameDay visit? The Trojans have won five in a row, night game at Husky Stadium (on Fox) and Jake Browning needs that one big game to get back in the Heisman race. Yeah, I’m a little underwhelmed, but that’s the college football world we’re living in right now. ABC counters with Michigan at Iowa at 8 EST. I know I’ve been beating up the NFL about its boring season, but college football feels like it’s just crawling to the finish line of Alabama-Auburn and Michigan-Ohio State. Name a dropback passer you’re excited to watch on a weekly basis. Name an SEC QB you’re excited to watch on a weekly basis. Hurts? I’m begging college football, maybe a MAC school, to Make The Dropback Passer Great Again. Logan Woodside is fun to watch from MY Rockets, but he’s playing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from here on out the rest of the season. We need that classic QB to step up and be the face. Maybe it’s Browning’s week to make that happen.
