Cubs NLCS Engagement Couple Speaks: She Says It Was Romantic

Bryan Nelson and his fiancee Chantel Parker are the couple who got engaged outside Wrigley Field before Game 6 of the NLCS. Bryan says that the couple flew to Chicago for the big event and he had this one shot in life to do it right. The big question I had about this scenario was “Is it romantic to get engaged on a street outside a baseball park?” I’ve heard from numerous women over the years who go nuts destroying sporting event engagements. They think it’s cheesy and too predictable. They think it’s one of the least romantic places to pull off the question.

Then Bryan and Chantel sent word this week that they were NLCS Engagement Couple. A search of their social media tells me that Bryan is a legit Cubs fan. Chantel, on the other hand, seems to be more into the Braves. That’s why I wanted to know if it was romantic for her. This is her memory for life of that ring sliding on the finger.

There are college ladies out there right now dreaming of how it will go down and I need to hear from Chantel on if this was the romance she dreamt about all these years.

Of course Bryan thought it was a genius move.

It looks like Chantel and Bryan are also Braves fans. Congrats to the happy couple. Remember guys, sometimes you have to do the little things to keep the house peaceful.
