On Sunday, AL.com’s Michael Casagrande published an article comparing Alabama to their next opponent, LSU. There was nothing too crazy written by Michael — it’s mostly statistics on the two teams with a good number of them favoring Alabama.
For whatever reason, this set off an Alabama fan, who is apparently a reverend, so much that he emailed Michael threatening to beat him up with a baseball bat. (Again, the article really isn’t a big deal.)
This vague threat of violence was emailed to me by a reverend. Not kidding. pic.twitter.com/IIti4PQ2qW

Reverend Bama fan wasn’t done there, either. He then told Michael to take his talents to Auburn before dropping physical threats again:

The reverend may be pissed, but it looks like the story is a big hit.
He won’t be happy if he knew the story that started this rage is the most read story on our site today.
