It seems that Tyler Seguin is tired of his incredible Pottern Barn pad in Dallas because his house hit the real estate market on Wednesday for $2,100,000. Seguin’s still with the Dallas Stars. No change there. That’s the odd part about this house hitting the market. Athletes don’t usually put property on the market as their season is about to take off. What’s it all mean? No clue, I guess the guy is tired of living in this masterpiece.
Seguin bought this place from Mike Modano back in 2014, according to county tax records, after being traded from Boston.
According to Tyler’s realtor:
This Preston Hollow home is situated on .433 acres and boasts tremendous privacy and updates throughout. Highlights include a renovated kitchen and master bath, hand scraped HW floors, new carpet in guest BRs each with private BA, fresh paint, updated lighting, multiple LAs including spacious media room and a fifth bedroom currently used as an oversized gym. Backyard oasis complete with kitchen, pool and spa, fire pit, cabana and putting green.
Seriously, I’d be pretty happy in that house. Could it use a little more land? Yes. That’s why Troy Aikman years ago started buying up houses around him in Dallas and started bulldozing. Anyway, it’s a nice house that Seguin’s selling.
Other highlights to Tyler’s Potter Barn pad:
• A very healthy 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms
• 7,250 sq. ft. — you’ll have plenty of room to avoid the rest of your family
• Look at that wood, that’s a whole bunch of wood
• 2.3 miles to Whole Foods
• 19.7 miles to Rick’s Cabaret
Mortgage: You’re looking at about $12,000 a month with taxes included. Keep in mind that’s with 20% ($420,000 down).
