We all cheered back in March when Adam Laroche retired from baseball because the White Sox wouldn’t let his damn kid, Drake, hang out in the clubhouse all the time.
It really was a ridiculous way to kick off the season — you may remember man child Chris Sale hanging both of their jerseys in the clubhouse (see above) to pay tribute to the fallen father-son duo.
But if for whatever reason you’re pro Drake Laroche, you’ll see him (and Adam) on Saturday when they throw out the first pitch before Game 2:
#Nats announce Livan Hernandez will throw out the first pitch before Game 1, with Adam and Drake LaRoche for Game 2.

Pretty random, but Adam did spend four years with the Nats before signing with the White Sox. Guess everyone there liked his kid, too.
