We’ve officially hit the third day of the Adam/Drake Laroche-Chicago White Sox controversy, and things are somehow still getting ridiculous.
You guys know the story by heart now: Adam Laroche’s kid apparently hung out in the clubhouse instead of go to school, some players got annoyed and had Kenny Williams do the dirty work, Laroche retired when he didn’t like the new stipulations, and some players — most notably, Chris Sale — had a “contentious meeting” with Williams Thursday.
It’s all pretty damn pointless, to say the least.
However, Sale is taking this crap to heart and decided to pay tribute to the Laroche family by hanging up their jerseys in the locker room:

Sale also believes Williams lied to the team:

Chris Sale accuses #WhiteSox VP Ken Williams of lying to team, and now have a meeting scheduled with Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf.

Chris Sale: The wrong guys walked out of that room, meaning teammate Adam LaRoche, and not #WhiteSox VP Ken Williams

Chris Sale: This isn't us rebelling against rules. This is us rebelling against BS.'' #WhiteSox.
