Here’s another reason to add to the long list of why minor league baseball is awesome. The Buffalo Bisons hold what they call a WCC (Wing, Cheese, and Celery) Race at every home game. We’ve seen this before, people dress up in food or some other type of costume and race around the field for the fans to enjoy.
Well, last night a carrot came out of nowhere and laid the wood to two chicken wings heading down the stretch to the finish line.

I believe this is the perfect send off from baseball season into football season. A carrot going full Dick Butkus on some wings.

Also, another big story from the night: the celery has officially announced his retirement. I guess the carrot was too much to handle.
