We Have Our First Great High School Truck Stick Of 2016 & It's Out Of Western PA

I know that ‘Cool Twitter’ likes to act as if they care that football players end up with brain trauma and horrible injuries after all is said and done in their career. That said, I can’t get too crazy like back in the old days on BC pre-Concussiongate about insane football hits because Cool Twitter will jump all over me for being some horrible person. Meanwhile, these guys collect paychecks via guys getting lit up in a game that’s still violent.
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get to western PA high school football where you better be cool with getting lit up because this is big boy football. We have North Catholic (PA) vs. Apollo-Ridge in a scrimmage.
One thing leads to another and Tyler Elwood is lighting up the running back coming out of the backfield.

It’s OK to still get excited over a hit. Don’t feel ashamed. Cool Twitter still gets goosebumps over this stuff, but then they’ll tweet that too many players are suffering brain injuries just to maintain their Cool Twitter street cred. This is a clean hit, led with the shoulder.
