It’s the end of an era, Matt Leinart, 33, got engaged this weekend to 29-year-old actress Josie Loren, ending what had been one of the greatest bachelorhoods known to the Internet. In fact, one could argue that Matt Leinart’s bachelorhood helped build the blogger world. It gave guys like me inspiration to track the off-field antics of athletes.
And now it’s over. Leinart’s partying days have been over for several years now. The hot tub bonging photos came out in March 2008. Busted was three months old. The sports blog explosion was happening and Leinart was the Manziel. The guy was a Content God.
Now he’s marrying Josie, whose IMDB credits include work on Hannah Montana, The Mentalist, and Make It Or Break It.
These two have been dating, according to my IG research, for at least three years.
Josie wrote Sunday morning:

So those of you out there who think you’ll never get engaged because you love the partying lifestyle too much, this is your warning. Your day is coming. You’ll eventually want to settle down and live the married life. You can’t bong beers forever.
