The Cleveland Cavaliers kept their season alive with a 112-97 Game 5 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. The Warriors still lead the series 3-2, but the Cavs are now one step closer to becoming the first team to ever overcome a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were absolutely magnificent in Game 5, as they became the first pair of teammates to both score 40 or more points in an NBA Finals game. James had 41 points on 16-30 shooting from the floor, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. Irving had 41 points on 17-24 shooting from the floor, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and a block.

Despite their best efforts, the Splash Brothers couldn’t match James and Irving’s historic tandem performance. Klay Thompson scored 37 points on 11-20 shooting from the floor, while Steph Curry scored 25 points on 8-21 shooting from the floor.
Thompson and Curry did most of their damage in the 1st half, as the entire Warriors offense came to a screeching halt after halftime. The Warriors put up 61 points in the 1st half, but they were only able to muster 36 points in the 2nd half. Their 3-point prowess completely abandoned them, as they only made 3-21 from beyond the arc over the last 2 quarters of play.
With the series heading back to Cleveland and Draymond Green returning to the court, let’s break down all the ways you can watch Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
