Here’s Draymond Green Playing Tight End for Michigan State

After watching Draymond Green deliver cheap shots and body up the opposition throughout the NBA playoffs, you’d assume his game is better suited for the gridiron.
In theory it makes sense, but things didn’t exactly translate for Draymond when he suited up for the Spartans’ green-white game in 2011.
As you can see below, ol’ Draymond was a little too amped and got called for false start and later failed to haul in a catch:

Despite the rough showing, then-Spartans quarterback Andrew Maxwell told MLive.com that he liked what he saw:

“I was impressed with how fast he learned and how willing he was to learn,” Maxwell said. “He listened to everything we said and worked hard. He picked things up pretty fast, which isn’t surprising. You would expect that from an athlete at his level. He’s definitely tall and a nice target. It was fun having him on the team.”
