Florida’s Mike Rivera Delivers Elbow to FSU First Baseman’s Ribs

Florida Mike Rivera elbow Florida State

It’s only June, but Florida is already taking shots at Florida State… on the baseball diamond.

During the sixth inning of Sunday’s Florida-FSU game, Florida catcher Mike Rivera beat out a ground ball thanks to a high throw from shortstop Taylor Walls. Rivera could have just run through the bag, but he took extra measures by dropping a nice elbow to the first baseman’s ribs:

Yeah. That wasn’t subtle at all.

It’s good to see Rivera found a way to land one hit in the game — he went 0-5 at the dish.
