Kanye West turned 39 years old on Wednesday, June 8. In honor of this momentous occasion, KVOA News 4 Tucson sports anchor Ari Alexander sprinkled 39 Kanye references into his broadcast.

Bravo, Ari, bravo. A lot of times in these kinds of segments, the anchor really struggles to shoehorn in the references. But I thought that Ari’s broadcast kept a nice flow to it and his Kanye quips flowed pretty seamlessly. My only complaint is that he didn’t describe LeBron James as “Steve Jobs mixed with Steve Austin.” Seemed like a golden opportunity to create pop culture Inception.
