Jared Goff: Stats, Highlights & Must-Know Player Details

Jared Goff is the former quarterback for the California Golden Bears. Goff decided to forgo his senior season and declare for the 2016 NFL Draft and is widely considered by most to the top overall pick. Goff is from Novato California where he went to Marin Catholic High School. He is only 21 years old and is destined for a long career in the NFL. It is almost a certainty that Goff will go either number 1 overall or number 2 to the Rams or Eagles respectively.

What are Jared Goff’s Stats?

In his time at California, he started in all 37 games in three seasons. He set numerous records that draw comparisons to what Aaron Rodgers did in his time at California. He holds a total of 26 records in California’s record books. He led the team in his Junior year, as team captain, to the school’s first bowl victory since 2008. Goff was also a finalist for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award. He led the Pac-12 and was third in the nation in passing touchdowns and passing yards and was among the top 25 in the nation in all passing and offensive categories.

What is Jared Goff’s height and weight?

Jared Goff weighs 215 pounds and is 6 feet 4 inches tall.

Where will Jared Goff get drafted?

While we do not know for certain where Goff will get drafted, it is more than likely that he will be chosen with one of the first two picks. As the Rams and Eagles have now traded for the first two picks respectively, both are considered to be taking a quarterback with the pick.  That leaves Goff, and other highly talented prospect Carson Wentz, to be taken with the pick. Early reports how stated that the Rams are leaning towards Goff, but we will not know until the name is called on stage. At this time, my prediction is that Goff is selected number one overall to the now Los Angeles Rams and he will remain in California.
