I’m pretty surprised the NY Post buried a nugget like this in the ‘Just Asking’ column of Page Six and didn’t turn it into back page headlines for days. You’re telling me there’s a sportscaster out there who needed extra makeup to cover up a black eye and this story isn’t all over Twitter? I will not rest until I hear the whole story on this.
Someone in the media will spill the goods.

This sounds like a Super Bowl story to me. The real news here is that this never became bigger news. That’s shocking because sportscasters and those around sportscasters can’t keep a secret. Now I have to spend the weekend going back through ESPN’s Super Bowl coverage to see if Berman might’ve had extra makeup.
I can’t imagine this one being some stupid NY sportscaster gossip. It’s gotta be bigger than that. Jim Nantz at the NCAA tourney? Joe Buck at…I have no idea? Dick Vitale before tourney game? This gossip went out April 3 so keep that in mind.
