Yoenis Cespedes Has a Brain Fart and Allows Inside-the-Park Home Run

New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is usually good for two things: bat flips and flashy cars. But today, he’s on our radar after effing up big time during a spring training game against the Astros.


During the top of the second inning, A.J. Reed scorched a Matt Harvey offering over the head of Cespedes, but instead of fielding the ball, he opted to act like it was unplayable. As you can see from the above photo, that wasn’t the case at all — he just didn’t feel like grabbing it.

The best part is that Reed is like 6’4,” 240 pounds and has three career stolen bases in the minors. Yo could’ve tried to fire a laser to nab him at second if he wanted.
