The loyalists around here who’ve stayed with me through the App Store redirects on Twitter appreciate the Roger Clemens Swag series where we keep track of Roger dripping in swag like white cargoes, gold chains, watches, rings, swag Nike shirts, the hair, the karaoke nights with Toby Keith, etc.
Things have been slow lately with Rog, now 53. His boys are grown, out of the house and I believe only one is still in baseball so his days of being swagged out at the ballparks are slowing down. That said, he always comes out of winter break fired up for Spring Training. The guy is a creature of habit.
Pitchers and catchers report to Florida/Arizona…so does Rocket. He started the week at a Longhorns game in those white cargoes and has since moved on to the Astros training camp. The one thing I’m noticing lately is that Roger seems to have quit wearing his cellphone on his right hip. Seems like he might’ve gone to an iPhone with no belt clip.
