It sure looks like transferring from UNC Asheville to LSU was the best decision in Keith Hornsby’s life.
The guy is posting career bests in both field goal and three-point percentage in his second season with the team, and let’s not forget, he’ll get to enjoy what should be an interesting NCAA Tournament run alongside future No. 1 pick Ben Simmons (assuming they crash the tourney). Oh, and he met his girlfriend, LSU Tiger Girl Heidey Hanks, in his first year in Louisiana. Not a bad two-year span at all.
Like Keith, she’s a senior and is majoring in marketing while dance instructing on the side. The two apparently also babysit Simmons’ lizard:
