Cam Newton is driving white people crazy & I can’t get enough of it
So Cam got behind a mic on Wednesday and pretty much gave the NFL media its story for Super Bowl week: People are scared of Cam Newton. They’re scared that he’s this massive black QB dabbing, and taunting defenses and, in turn, that seems like he’s taunting opposing fans. They hate that he signals first downs, something that white QBs never seem to do, right? Tom Brady’s never done that, right? The NFL is better when there are perceived villains and Cam, at 26, should be the torchbearer of that role for the next 10-12 years – at least. It’s like the guy is the Iron Sheik and he’s coming to shake up the WWF in the 1980s. White people went nuts on Sheik. They’ve just moved on to another villain they see possibly stealing Super Bowl trophies from the great white hero (Peyton). This is exactly the Super Bowl matchup the NFL needed for the 50th anniversary.
