You guys are all aware of the San Francisco Giants and their “even year magic,” but one fan took that belief to a whole new level by robbing an Orange County 7-Eleven of 60 lottery scratcher tickets (and money, of course).
According to KTLA 5, Santa Ana police believe this Giants fan is connected to at least seven other robberies for one reason: a Chevy Malibu is seen leaving each of the locations hit.
Details from the report:
Police believe there may be much more than seven robberies linked to the series of crimes, and that more than one man may be involved.
They initially said the series started in October 2014, but later corrected the year to 2015.
The male robber was described as Hispanic, 30 to 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds and with pockmarks on his face. In the Santa Ana robbery, he wore a black hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans and brown work boots.
If you’re curious about those scratchers he stole, the report adds the suspect went to a liquor store to cash in several of them.
