If you take a glance over at Lincoln Financial Field’s prohibited items, you’ll see the following on the list (via Eagles.com):
- Purses larger than a clutch bag
- Coolers
- Briefcases
- Backpacks
- Fanny packs
- Cinch bags
- Luggage
- Seat cushions
- Computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size
Pretty much the standard stuff all NFL stadiums look out for, but it looks like a new (seasonal) item will need to be added to avoid confusion next year: Christmas trees!
Yes, one holiday saint attended to get his massive tree through security before Sunday’s Cardinals-Eagles game, and was promptly denied:

Considering that shellacking the Cardinals dished out, getting turned away was probably a blessing in disguise.
