A week ago Johnny Manziel had his best professional best day ever — Mike Pettine handed him the keys to the castle, the NFL didn’t discipline him for his incident with Colleen Crowley, and he made the ultimate declaration that he wouldn’t be a distraction for his team.
Fast-forward a week, and it’s full-blown dumpster fire thanks to video we uncovered Monday of Johnny living it up and sipping champagne at the Rio Rooftop in Austin.
Johnny can claim the video could be old all he wants he wants, but that isn’t stopping Pettine from seriously considering going back to his favorite, Josh McCown:

More from Pettine’s Tuesday presser (via NFL.com):
“It’s a little easier to handle when it’s just a one-time occurrence, but when behavior repeats, not just him but with anybody, it’s certainly a cause for concern,” Pettine said. “… When things like this happen, and not just him, but just in general — any team when you have incidents like that, a guy knows that he represents more than himself and has issues off the field — it is frustrating.”
Update: Johnny is now is the third-string quarterback…
