Remember when Cleveland media was freaking out over Johnny Manziel’s fun little weekend in College Station? Yeah, well it looks like that’s all in the past because Johnny Football has been on a tear since giving some random chick his gold chain.
Just days after turning in his best professional performance in a blowout loss against the Steelers, head coach Mike Pettine finally handed Johnny the starting quarterback gig Tuesday:
#Browns officially announce Johnny Manziel will start for the rest of the season

Of course, one mistake and Pettine will go back to his favorite, Josh McCown:
#Browns Pettine: "with Johnny as the starter, we have the best backup in the league in (Josh McCown)"

And if finally getting the keys to the castle wasn’t enough, the NFL also announced Johnny won’t face any consequences for that domestic incident with Colleen Crowley:

Is this the best (professional) day in Johnny’s life? Hell yeah!
And all you Browns fans don’t have to worry about him messing up — he promised Pettine he won’t embarrass the organization (via Cleveland.com):
“I let him know that I’m not going to do anything that’s going to be a distraction to this team or be an embarrassment to the organization,” he said. “I’m going to get a chance to go and relax like everybody else in this locker room is. I don’t think they’re going to have to worry about me this week.”
Obviously that all sounds good, but we really think Johnny might need to take a trip this bye weekend to relax a bit. Yes. The starting gig and avoiding punishment from the shield is great news. But now all eyes are on him to see if he can be the Browns’ quarterback of the future. The pressure is real.
