The Mets stormed out to an early 1-0 lead over the Dodgers after an RBI triple by David Murphy, but sadness did not last long for the home team.

The Dodgers answered with four straight hits off Jacob deGrom to take a 2-1 advantage — much to the pleasure of Clayton Kershaw:

Now the big question remains: Will Kershaw pull a Bumgarner and pitch on short rest?

Don Mattingly talked to Clayton Kershaw about pitching in relief today. Wouldn't say if Kershaw is available.
