In not-so-shocking news, there are people out there butthurt about Jose Bautista taking a colossal shit all over baseball’s unwritten rules with his glorious, three-run home run bat flip.
Who are those people? Why, it’s the Texas Rangers, of course!
Yes, the same Rangers who were jolly as can be about Rougned Odor’s run off a Russell Martin “error” are apparently up in arms about Bautista not acting like he’s been there before.
(Spoiler: He hasn’t.)
From the Forth Worth Star-Telegram’s Jeff Wilson:
#Rangers were not pleased with the Jose Bautista bat flip. Understand the emotions, but a lot of "act like a professional" references.

Ooohhh. Classic upstanding baseball player retort right there. Madison Bumgarner is probably on a farm somewhere wholeheartedly agreeing with this sentiment.
Cole Hamels also chimed in on how the Rangers like to conduct their business:
Cole Hamels: "It's hard to be politically correct. It's tough to see. A lot of us on our team don't carry ourselves that way."

Update: Sam Dyson, who served up the game-winning home run, thinks Bautista needs to be a better role model:
Sam Dyson on The Flip: (1/2): “Jose needs to calm that down, just kind of respect the game a little more. He’s a huge role model for …"

Dyson (2/3): "the younger generation that’s coming up playing this game, and I mean he’s doing stuff that kids do in Wiffle ball games …

Dyson (3/3): " … and backyard baseball. It shouldn’t be done.”

This was your sad reminder that not every baseball player likes to have fun and express their emotions.
Luckily, we have players like Yo and Bautista to carry us this postseason:
