The Washington Nationals’ final home game of the season featured a near no-hitter by Max Scherzer, but unfortunately no one really cared after Sunday’s Bryce Harper-Jonathan Papelbon fiasco.
However, those who showed up to a godforsaken Monday matinee game (and sat in the upper deck), did voice their support for Bryce one last time:

Of course, Harper didn’t see the field today because Matt Williams had to discipline him for getting choked out by Jonathan Papelbon.

On the plus side for Nats fans, Dan Steinberg pointed out that the club removed Papelbon jerseys from the team store before the game.
