Phillies’ Aaron Altherr Hits Inside-the-Park Grand Slam Against Nationals

Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr should probably send Michael Taylor a gift basket once he gets back to Philadelphia.
As you can see below, Altherr was the beneficiary of a missed diving catch by Taylor in the third inning, which allowed him to round the bases for the ultra rare inside-the-park grand slam:

Poor Jordan Zimmermann. This could be his last home start ever for the Nationals, and some guy we’ve never heard of before comes in and does something we haven’t seen since 1999.
To make matters worse, Altherr took him deep (for real) two innings later.
