I don’t know what else to say about the Kansas City Royals, but I’ll just throw it out there: the Royals are the closest thing to a hockey team that you’ll get in Major League Baseball. The fans are nuts. The broadcaster(s) — think Rex Hudler — is crazy.

A year ago the national pundits — i.e. baseball bloggers who think they know everything and are normally guys who never get laid — had Ned Yost fired. They were coming after his head saying he was a worthless manager and that he wouldn’t survive after being a disaster in the playoffs. Go back in the Twitter archives. Now he has the team with the best record in the A.L.
