We all know high school refs suck. If you played any high school sport you know this. They’re just normal guys who usually do it as a side thing at night, and weren’t exactly professionally trained like the guys you see in college. So you always go into the games with the fact that they’re probably going to make a few bad in the back of your mind.
I guess these kids didn’t because apparently after a string of bad calls by the ref in the defensive backfield, they thought it would be a good idea to blindside him during a play no where near them.

When I first saw the headline I didn’t think it could be that bad, but that was like a Hines Ward blind side times 100. No effort to hide it at all, just blatantly took him out. One moment you’re mad at the ref after some bad calls and now you’re being investigated by the police for assault.
