Police Looking For Yankees Fan Who’s Robbed 3 Banks Since August 6th

Yankees fans having been having a rough go of it the last couple of weeks. Toronto made a thousand trades before the deadline and promptly went on a 11 game win streak and took the lead in the AL East. Last night however, the Yanks did get one back from them and reclaimed the top spot by a half game.

That’s not the point though, when this dude was getting his Bonnie and Clyde on, the Yanks were crumbling like pastries and the Jays were blasting home runs left and right. The first robbery came on August 6th and then a week later he robbed the same bank, and then headed to a different town on the same day to rob another bank. To recap: 3 bank robberies total, 2 in one day this Thursday, all because the Yankees stink.

Patch Berlin (Connecticut) has more details:

Berlin Police are investigating the robbery of the TD Bank, located at 1127 Farmington Avenue, that took place at about 4:50 p.m. on Thursday.

Police told NBC Connecticut that the suspect may be the same man who robbed the TD Bank in West Hartford around 2 p.m. on Thursday. The same suspect also robbed the same West Hartford TD Bank on Thursday, Aug. 6.

Berlin Police said the suspect entered the TD Bank and gave a note to a teller demanding cash. The subject was wearing a Yankee baseball cap, gray shorts, black T-shirt with a white T-shirt underneath.

The subject was described as a white male, 5’5” – 6’, slim build, 25-35 yrs. old, with dark short hair. No weapon was displayed.

Yes, I’m completely blaming this on the Yankees. We saw this with the Cavs fan bank robbery, you’re team starts losing and all of the sudden you get this urge to rob a bank. This guy went above and beyond and cleaned out the same one within a week and another the same day. The Yankees are turning this guy into a bank robbing machine.
