Year after year. Even when the team isn’t coming off a national title. First In Line Guy, whose real name is Bobby Hunter, just keeps showing up first year after year after year for his Bama Fan Day spot. He’s first in line and says he’s ready for the Running of the Gumps, the annual sprint across Bryant-Denny to meet the hero of his choice, which will likely be Saban.
Last year we gave Bobby the appropriate name ‘First In Line Guy’ and he seemed cool with it. You might remember that FILG has five kids, is now 33 and Nick Saban autographed his 5-week old son’s onesie.
According to his Facebook page, FILG took his spot on Wednesday. He’s ready. FOOTBALL IS BACK!
