In case you didn’t know, Rob Gronkowski has a book coming out on Tuesday called “It’s Good To Be Gronk“, which is the perfect name for a book written by Gronk. The Boston Herald was able to get an advanced copy and gave us a sneak preview of the book with a ridiculous story of Gronk saying he had a slip ‘n slide going through his living room when sorority girls came over.
From the BH:
Gronk’s partying, like his football game, made great strides at the University of Arizona, where he and bros Chris and Gord shared a house their dad bought for them, which they promptly renamed Club G.
“At our house, the front door and the back door were perfectly aligned to form a straight line right through the living room, kitchen and hallway.”
So naturally, the Gronk boys turned it into a giant Slip ’N Slide.
“We would invite all the hot athletic and sorority girls over then take dishwashing liquid and squirt it all over the floor to get it slippery. We would then squirt it all over ourselves to get lubed up then throw water all over the place. The name of the game was to make it from door to door sliding on your chest.”
Naturally, considering the conditions, the guys would strip down to their underwear and the girls to their undies and bras.
“Somebody was always naked and the girls loved it when our underwear slid off,” he writes.
Club G was also equipped with a hot tub and the price of admission, for the ladies, was to throw their bra or bikini top up into a nearby tree.
Slip ‘N slide through the living room and a hot tub in the back with a naked only policy — I should be surprised but I’m not at all, that’s just Gronk for you. I have to get this book. If this is the story that comes out just from a sneak preview, I can’t imagine what the rest of the book has. There’s no way that’s the craziest thing in there.
The man just has the greatest life ever. He partied in college like Van Wilder while still dominating on the field, then goes to the NFL and does the same thing. He’s just a giant kid who loves to party and is one of the best tight ends ever.
