First of all, I didn’t know people still sent in letters to be published in the Sunday paper. I figured once the internet rolled into the mainstream that pretty much ended. But I guess that explains this guy’s letter.
This is a real letter from a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reader. @JSComments pic.twitter.com/6B1ZISis1P

Idea #1: Change the size of the court and height of the rim
He’s right. They players are getting bigger, faster, and stronger. Remember when Dwight Howard easily dunked on that 12 foot rim in the Dunk Contest? That didn’t seem too hard. Make the rims 12 feet and the court 150 feet. Valid point, Tom.
Idea #2: Ban everyone over 6 foot 4 and make dunking illegal again
Less Lebron’s and Kevin Durant’s, more Steve Nash’s and John Stockton’s. No more of these superhuman athletes that play the game so effortlessly and dominate at will. We need more scrappy, hardworking short people who play the game with fundamentals. Hand in the cookie jar, two handed bounce pass type players. Tom wants a league of Dellavedova’s.
Idea #3: Bring back quality outside shooting
There aren’t any shooters left in the NBA. None. Quality 3 point shooting is dead and it’s time to bring it back. Tom couldn’t be more dead on with that one.
There you go, NBA. 3 new ideas from Tom for you to mull over. I’m sure the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is sending them to your office as we speak. It’s time to make the the league less boring.
