My 1.5 day vacation was pretty nice
Ahhhh, I’m so refreshed right now from being off some of Thursday and all of Friday. Nothing recharges the batteries like being able to avoid the internet or BC administrative work for like 30 hours. Some of you need 3-4 weeks off from work per year. I get a few non-weekend days off a year. And unlike those of you who need to go to Florida or some blazing hot beach, I went to northern Michigan where some people were wearing duck feather vests and the temps were in the upper-40s at night. The lake waters aren’t too bad….as long as you don’t go in water above your knee. Daytime temps were between 66-77. Hike a few sand dunes. Throw a few skipping rocks. Eat pizza. Ice cream. Drink microbrews. Come home in time to watch Dustin Johnson blow a chance to win the U.S. Open. That’s the end of the vacation.
