Chris Davis Unloads Power Bunt to Beat the Shift

These days, all baseball fans clamor about is All-Star voting and hitters refusing to go opposite field to beat infield shifts. However, Orioles first baseman Chris Davis somewhat subscribes to the “bunt to defeat the shift” philosophy. As you can see below, he added some extra oomph to the bunt he “dropped” on the Phillies tonight:

After seeing that, it wouldn’t shock me to see Chris get extra bases in the future.
