Ohio State & Boston Bruins Fan Robs Dayton, Ohio Bank

Normally I’d just let this Ohio bank robbery slide because Ohio State fans will say I’m picking on the program and that I’m not a true Ohio State fan. I’ve heard it all over the years. I’ve heard I don’t own enough Ohio State gear. I’ve heard that I don’t attend enough Ohio State games. I’ve heard that I can’t name enough of the 16 year olds that Urban Meyer is recruiting right now.

Look Ohio State fan, there’s good with bad and BC still has to be a reputable Internet news outlet. We have to report when a Buckeyes/Boston Bruins fan holds up a Dayton, Ohio bank. It’s an oddity that readers enjoy.

From the Dayton Daily News:

UPDATE @ 2:15 p.m.:

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-40s. He was wearing a gray T-shirt with red writing on the front and the word Buckeyes visible, a cap and eyeglasses.

The Fifth Third Bank, 1 S. Main St. downtown, was robbed just before 2 p.m.

The police dispatcher told crews that the suspect is a male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin, wearing glasses, with short hair. He didn’t show a weapon, and fled on foot.

Very sweaty and he’s Buckeye Strong. No way he lasts very long on the run. He probably took off to the new casino they opened just north of downtown. Be on the lookout.

There’s a $1,000 reward for Buckeye Strong’s capture.
