It’s safe to say that the scariest plays in baseball are either a pitcher getting hit in the head by a comebacker, or a batter taking a pitch to the head. Those are the absolute worst-case scenarios. However, there is another painful play we sometimes forget about: baseball to the nether region.
Just check out the video above, where the home plate umpire working a SK Wyverns-Lotte Giants game took a foul-tip right to the groin area. It was so pain that taking a breather did nothing for the guy, as he laid face down in the dirt before getting carted off.
