The Ndamukong Suh Era Is Over In Detroit…His Banner Came Down

Not For Long.

The NFL still stands for it and it’s about to happen in Detroit. The Lions refused to franchise tag Ndamukong Suh, making him a free agent.

Poor Lions fans will now get to turn on Ndamukong Suh and complain that he’s a dirty player. The defense of Suh can now end. The whining that he’s not a dirty player can stop. The constant bitching on Sundays that the NFL is out to get Suh is over. Detroit fans can finally take a couple deep breaths and realize the days of #90 racking up personal fouls and fines for your franchise…are finished.

Here’s the proof:

You start tearing down banners for a free agent and you’re not getting him back. So Suh will just have to take that bigger payday from Seattle, Miami, Jacksonville or wherever he wants to get paid. And then new fans will get to defend him when he stomps on an opposing quarterback.

So that $100M deal Suh likely signs? Here’s the real value via @corryjoel and @SportsTaxMan
